The principal of the firm, Philip Saunders, Jr., Ph.D., brings a combination of expertise and experience generally found only among a team of individuals at a much larger firm. He is a trained economist with an extensive history of qualitative and quantitative analysis, including having analyzed and valued hundreds of companies. He has more than 40 years of valuation, investment, management, merger and acquisition, consulting, and bankruptcy experience. Since 1988 Dr. Saunders has been the principal of Philip Saunders Associates, providing consulting, valuation, and litigation support services in a wide range of corporate and personal matters.
The firm has provided services for many types of cases, including stockholder disputes, business interruption, tortious interference, estate and gift taxation, income taxation, real estate taxation, breach of contract, patent infringement, bankruptcy, environmental damage, employment, divorce, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
The firm has experience in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, IT, technology, wholesale, sales, retail, restaurant, real estate, construction, finance, entertainment, and service.
The firm has been retained by both plaintiffs and defendants. Dr. Saunders has qualified as an expert in Federal District Courts; state trial, land, and probate courts; and Federal Bankruptcy Court. He has also served as a Chapter 7 Trustee, Chapter 11 Trustee, and Examiner for the United States Bankruptcy Court.
